Website Ready Now that your website is ready for viewing, let's take it to the world wide web. We have covered a few ways to build a web site. Now, let's talk about the different ways to upload your website, maintain your website and optimize your website for search engines. You can do all of these tasks very easily when you use www.bestbudgetweb.com. They have easy to use web tools free with every hosting. After you have created a website consisting of web pages filled with great content, it's time to upload it to your server (host) for the world to view. (See building a website with FrontPage or Dreamweaver) There are two ways to upload your web site files to your hosting server - using a File Manager utility provided by the web hosting company or File Transfer Protocol (FTP). Since we have discussed programs like Microsoft FrontPage and Dreamweaver, let's focus on them. Upload your site using Microsoft FrontPage 1. Open your website file located on your computer in FrontPage. Double check your internet connection. 2. Click on File. Click on Publish Web. 3. FTP box will pop up. Enter your username and password. (Your username and password was created when you set up your hosting with your server. If you have forgotten your username or password, log into your hosting account to get that information. If you don't know how to do that, call your server for help. This is one reason we suggest a great server with 24/7 customer service. (See our recommended servers) 4. Click Publish. Your files should upload.

For more control over web optimization, then you may want to build your site from scratch. Webpage design programs such as Microsoft FrontPage and Dreamweaver are great. There are other great ones out there too. These two seem to come up in more in conversations because of name recognition thus making them very popular. You will need to learn how these programs work.
